The Aftercare Regimen
Aftercare once you’ve planted grass seeds is a must. you should start the regimen by covering the seeds that have been planted. All you need to do is lightly drag the grass seed bed, to make sure than just a quarter-inch of soil covers the seeds. You can cover the bed with a grass seed accelerator – which would make sure that the seeds are held in place and that they retain their moisture. Watering often is an important part of the aftercare regimen. The bed should be kept moist always, this enhances the germination. Be careful not to saturate, instead, water lightly and frequently, until the new grass is at least two inches high. The new grass should be watered regularly in order to keep the roots moist. Remember that good aftercare can go a long way in ensuring your grass lives long and well, thus you will have a beautiful and peaceful lawn that you can enjoy.
